MotoFaction on CX and GL radiator hoses

I ordered a couple of NAPA 11644 heater hoses to cut into replacement upper and lower radiator hoses for my projects and for a friend working on his CX. The bends on the NAPA 11644 show two sets of CX radiator hoses to be cut from each, as I'd read on the forum. Hoses cut from the NAPA hose do fit a bit snug but they do fit. I had to order the 11644 heater hoses and paid a $9.95 flat shipping fee. The NAPA price per hose before shipping was $10.95.

I was also looking for good replacement hose for the bypass and overflow tubes on the CX. NAPA H311 1/4". Fuel Line makes a nice-fitting bypass hose and NAPA H176 5/16" Fuel Line works well for the long overflow tube. One foot of the 1/4" H311 is more than enough for the bypass tube and three feet of the 5/16" H176 is a bit more than needed for the overflow tube. A foot of the 1/4" cost me $2.09 and three feet of the 5/16 cost $4.17 at my local NAPA store. Both sizes are coolant and oil resistant.

I tried a Dayco brand 1/4" line for a bypass tube and it was too loose. A 3/16" NAPA H173 Fuel line was way too snug. On another member's advice I tried the local Honda dealer but all they stock or can get is non-metric size fuel lines and the parts counterman couldn't find metric sizes to order except colored fuel lines.

So, stick to NAPA and go with the numbers I list above and everything should fit.

I also tried getting metric size hose from Hosesand Fittings.com, supposedly the largest online hose supplier...no luck on the hoses there, but they had some really cool European stainless worm clamps that are smooth inside that looked like they would be very hose-friendly so I ordered some of those.
